I cannot praise Helen Robson enough, she closed the deal on the property and through skilled negotiations managed to get the purchasers initial offer increased by 10%. The sale was a particularly challenging one as the purchaser gave both myself and your staff the run around. Helen regularly chased what I can only describe as very difficult client, she was also the voice of reason and reassured me when things were grinding almost to halt and slow progress made, all of which was the fault of the purchaser.

In addition Kim Pearson's approach was always friendly and helpful, she also kept up the pace while dealing with a solicitor, that failed to return calls and was extremely guarded with essential information. She regularly contacted me and kept me informed as progress was being made.

Whilst I had been considering moving house and had viewed properties to get some ideas on what I would like, I hadn’t actually begun the process of selling etc.

However, a stroll through Borrowash and a glance in your office window changed everything. Within an hour I had viewed the bungalow at the above address and decided it was just what I had in mind. When the staff ascertained that I was serious about the property they sprang into action to help me as much as they could. Within days my house was placed on the market and I’d had an offer accepted on the bungalow. They say that moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do in life, at my time of life stress is the last thing I was looking for. My wife and I had visited quite a few estate agents, in person and via the internet. We had a very firm specification for our new home. We knew this was not going to be easy to find in the area we wanted to move to. The three girls in the Pride Park, Derby office treated us as though we were their most important customers. If you want to sit at home and have someone send you loads of house details through the post (I am still getting some now even though I have asked for them to stop) then I suppose any estate agents will do. I wanted a company that would help me look for what we wanted and ring me to talk to me about them. I wanted a company that would fit around my difficult working hours to make sure I could view whenever I had time. I certainly did not want to spend time sitting around waiting for someone to arrive to show me around a house that was not even close to our specification. IMS fulfilled our needs ideally they even recommended a house moving company who did a great job relieving the stress even more. I have rung the IMS office several times since moving into our new home and have been met with sympathetic assistance on every occasion. I cannot praise them highly enough for all the help and professional guidance they have given us and still feel we have made some new friends for life.
